Create | Encounter is an annual art contest hosted by Rehumanize International. The goal of this project is to engage the grassroots community through an open call for submissions, promote education on issues of human dignity through an annual compilation of creative works, and stimulate discourse on these issues by bringing artists together at the release event. Every year since 2019, I have facilitated this contest — organizing the judging panel, designing the magazine of winning submissions, and hosting the release party. It's one of my favorite projects I get to work on at Rehumanize!
